New to Collaberex in 2022, Joan comes to us with 15 years of experience in the public-school sector. She helps support the teachers in her district by managing cash distributions, procurement card spending and other financial-related tasks.
Joan has a Business degree from Drexel University, is a member of PASO (Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials) and completed her CAPA (Certified Accounts Payable Associate) designation in 2019. Prior to joining the Downingtown Area School District as a Staff Accountant, Joan worked in the family’s propane standby system installation business along with working in her father’s investment advisory company. Joan is very familiar with the struggles and successes of managing your own business.
When she’s not working part-time for Collaberex, Joan can be found hiking, watching TED Talks or traveling to spend time with one of her three daughters. She travels to NYC, State College, PA, and Columbus, OH to see them as often as she can, especially her first grandchild in State College.
