As a small business owner with clients ranging from the Federal government to large and small private sector businesses to non-profits, Kate has worked with an array of customers and teams to develop and execute strategic plans. As a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, she has first-hand knowledge of developing and leading teams as a U.S. Army officer. After serving 6 years in the Army as a Captain, Kate pursued and attained her MBA in International Business and Masters in International Affairs from the George Washington University and went on to be a Strategy and Management Consultant for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).
