Besides his professional life, Michael supports a variety of non-profit organizations, including Sharsheret, an organization providing support to families experiencing a breast cancer or ovarian cancer diagnosis. The Michael Shapot Team also organizes a semi-annual clothing drive to benefit the NYC Rescue Mission.
Michael lives on the Upper Westside with his wife, Chaye, and they have a home in Park City, UT. They have two grown sons, Daniel and Isaac. He loves to ski, bike and root for his professional NY sports teams.
